Bangalore, March 7, 2013: Canvera one of the fastest growing startups in India has launched its first television advertisement to capture the large market of photobooks in India. The idea behind the TVC is to capture the excitement around a wedding photobook, and through it, some of the moments that make up a typical Indian wedding.
The TVC hits the screen on March 7, 2013 and will be broadcasted in four different languages on 20 television channels across the country. It is a fun, upbeat TVC that also makes a point to establish an emotional connect with the end consumer.
The TVC narrates the story of a family reliving the magical moments of a recent wedding through pictures captured in a Canvera Photobook. One of the important selling points for Canvera photobooks is their high quality and durability. This is encapsulated through a quick succession of snapshots that capture the different phases in the couple's life. The wedding book is a treasure chest of memory for the couple. They hold it close and share the photobook with friends, family and their grown up daughter, years down the line.
"Canvera wants to establish the presence and availability of a branded, high end photobook through this campaign, in a product category that has so far only offered unbranded alternatives. We want to let the consumers know that they have a choice to preserve their memories in a photobook that will stay beautiful and last them a lifetime", says Dr. Dhiraj Kacker, CEO & Co-Founder, Canvera.
The new commercial has been conceptualized by Ogilvy & Mather. Speaking about the campaign, Simi Sabhaney, President (South), O&M said, "Each time the family turns the pages of the wedding photobook, they relive the beautiful memories. Each picture has a story to tell and the film captures the emotions, the stories and the conversations that are linked to a wedding photobook."
The commercial can be viewed on Canvera's home page www.canvera.com
